The Role

Building relationships is at the heart of what we do. So it’s no surprise we’re so passionate about our people. After all, they’re just as passionate about the communities we serve.

We’re committed to becoming one of the most efficient providers of affordable housing and community investment services. And while we exist to put customers first, create opportunity and enthuse our customers, we also strive to create an ambitious, inclusive place to work, where we recognise that every single one of us makes a difference.

Zambesi is a supported housing scheme for homeless vulnerable adults aged 22 and over with additional support needs. The scheme is staffed 24 hours a day, offering person centred care and support to customers based on their individual risk and needs assessment.

The candidate must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to identify problems and needs, and work with colleagues to provide appropriate and innovative solutions to enable customers to address the issues which have led to homelessness and to achieve independent living.

We are looking for a team player, who has a passion for delivering high quality care. If you passionate and committed to caring for vulnerable people, then we would like to hear from you. In return, we offer a generous reward package and opportunities for development.

All successful candidates will be subject to a Disclosure Barring Service check and costs will be met by Midland Heart.

If you are a disabled candidate and require a hard copy pack or a different format, for example large print, please contact the HR department on 0845 850 1020 ext 6555.

Please do read the role profile before you begin your application. CVs will not be considered, so please complete the application form in full.

Midland Heart aspires to be a digital organisation that minimises its impact on the environment. Wherever possible, we will conduct transactions digitally rather than by paper and ask that current and future employees share this commitment. Where required, we will support colleagues to be digitally enabled.
