The Role

Building relationships is at the heart of what we do. So it’s no surprise we’re so passionate about our people. After all, they’re just as passionate about the communities we serve.

We’re committed to becoming one of the most efficient providers of affordable housing and community investment services. And while we exist to put customers first, create opportunity and enthuse our customers, we also strive to create an ambitious, inclusive place to work, where we recognise that every single one of us makes a difference.

We have an exciting opportunity for an organised, proactive and customer focused individual to join our Home Options department. As a Lettings Officer, you will allocate properties to customers with minimal void loss, ensuring any support needs are identified. You will work with the Asset Management team to ensure that the new home is in a satisfactory condition.

Therefore if you have the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with people inside and outside of the organisation, then we would like to hear from you. In return, we offer a great reward package and opportunity for development.

All successful candidates will be subject to a Disclosure Barring Service check and costs will be met by Midland Heart.

If you are a disabled candidate and require a hard copy pack or a different format, for example large print, please contact the HR department on 0845 850 1020 ext 6555.

Please do read the role profile before you begin your application. CVs will not be considered, so please complete the application form in full.

Midland Heart aspires to be a digital organisation that minimises its impact on the environment. Wherever possible, we will conduct transactions digitally rather than by paper and ask that current and future employees share this commitment. Where required, we will support colleagues to be digitally enabled.
