We’ve an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Operative to join our highly valued facilities team – a group of dedicated professionals tasked with ensuring that our office estate is a safe, healthy, functional and clean environment, that enables our colleagues to provide a first-class service for our customers.

Responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:

• Undertaking a variety of planned and reactive building maintenance tasks, including conducting minor repairs, decorating and managing external contractors when on site. 
• Setting up modular meeting spaces, including the moving of partition walls and furniture.
• Managing post and other deliveries in support of our operations.
• Supporting initiatives aimed at reducing our carbon footprint including taking metre readings and collection of data.
• Undertaking weekly site inspections, including fire alarm testing and reporting and monitoring faults with fire precautions equipment.

Please be advised that, although based at our Birmingham head office, this role will require regular visits to our East Midlands Hub (Hinckley) and other sites within the Midlands geography. The role includes shift work, an on-call rota and occasional weekend working. An additional allowance is paid for on call duties.

• You’ve achieved a trade qualification that is relevant to facilities management.

• You have a full, current manual driving licence.
