The Role
Do you have excellent knowledge of IT security systems? If so we have a fantastic opportunity for an IT Security Manager to join one of the UKs leading Housing Associations.
Reporting to the Head of IT Service Delivery will be responsible for:
- Establishing and maintaining appropriate standards, policies and controls to manage IT and Cyber security across all business units within Midland Heart.
- Conducting regular reviews and tests to identify vulnerabilities and to ensure compliance with standards and principles then performing remedial actions to mitigate identified risks.
- Recommending new solutions to tackle priority risks and raising awareness of IT Security across the user community.
- Integrating with Business and Project teams, to ensure that IT security is considered and embedded in everything we do as an organisation.
- Being the IT and Cyber security subject matter expert for Midland Heart.
Our ideal candidate will hold Chartered Information Security Manager or Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification, to support their significant knowledge and experience of IT security systems across different technical platforms. You will have excellent problem solving skills, be passionate about delivering an excellent service to our stakeholders and are able to use judgement to ensure business outcomes are achieved effectively and efficiently.
Knowledge of Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation and ISO 27001 standards would be seen as advantageous.
